LATEST | Bruce Boudreau comments on a possible Tyler Myers trade
The Vancouver Canucks made a coaching change last month firing Bruce Boudreau and replacing Boudreau with Rick Tocchet.
Boudreau has since joined the NHL Network as a Hockey Analyst. Boudreau would give his insights on the rumors of a possible trade between the Toronto Maple Leafs, and Canucks for defenceman Tyler Myers.
Tyler's played some great games. Such a big body, and a good stick. I think he would help. My biggest worry is his contract ($5M bonus next year). If it was Toronto if they can afford to get him in there? And there's a history with (Travis) Dermott trade.
Myers would definitely add some size to the Leafs but what kind of return would the Canucks get is the question? At this point, the Canucks would most likely consider anything to have the cap space.
