Quinn Hughes has grown into quite the superstar and leader over the years. After the Canucks' last home game last night, Hughes gave a heartwarming speech to the fans and it shows what he truly means to this franchise.
"On behalf of me and my teammates, just want to thank the fans for everything this year. Hopefully we come out strong next year,"
Hughes grown into a notable leader in the organization, even Rick Tocchet mentionned Hughes on multiple occasions and it surely doesn't go unnoticed that he was the chosen one to take the mic after the team's last home game.
Hughes now counts an impressive 66 assists and 73 points in 75 games which places him 2nd amongst all NHL's defenceman. He could very well be a candidate for the Norris trophy when comes the award season.
