Since Bo Horvat has been traded, the San Jose Sharks hold the top trade bait as we move closer to the deadline. Timo Meier is set to be a restricted free agent by the end of this season and he'll definitely fetch a massive haul for the Sharks.

We've recently been made aware that two teams have emerged from the lot after yesterday's blockbuster deal moving Vladimir Tarasenko to the Rangers.

The Carolina Hurricanes and the New Jersey Devils are on top of things when it comes to the Swiss winger. They've both made it quite clear they were on the market for forwards and if one of them were to land him, it would definitely increase the Canucks forward's, Brock Boeser, value on the market.

Frank Seravalli has Brock Boeser at number eight in his updated trade bait list, but he sits 3rd amongst the wingers. Meier and Kane were ahead of him and since the Rangers are now off the list, Patrick Kane's name will most likely fall down a few spots leaving Boeser as the second best winger on the market.

Boeser had a season best performance last night against the New York Islanders, when he registered nothing less than a goal and three assists. Both Boeser and the Canucks have shared their wishes to go their separate ways, with his value increasing are we nearing an end in this saga?
