MAJOR | Boston VS. Florida called off by the officials after it turned into chaos
NHL Playoffs are possibly the most intense occurrence of all major sports and it never ceases to amaze. The Panthers were meeting the cup favorites Bruins for game no. 2 last night and they're setting things up for an exciting game no.3.
The officials were forced to call the game off after things degenerated with only 3 seconds left on the board. Thomas Nosek added, to an already extremely intense matchup, when he sent a wild elbow Marc Staal's way.
Things only escalated from there, just a few moments later, Matthew Tkachuk and Thomas Nosek were caught on the mic chirping each other. Ray Ferraro was stuck in the middle of both players which allowed the mic to capture a great piece of hockey:
As the game clock went down, the game was already pretty much done since the Panthers managed a 6-3 win, but Trent Frederic and Ryan Lomberg has not said their last words as they engaged in a brawl just seconds prior to the end of the game:
The officials then decided to call the game off, even though there was time remaining on the clock. It was pointed out, that nobody recalled the last time a game didn't end properly.
Anyway, this surely set the stage for an extremely spirited meeting between the two teams on Friday.
