MAJOR NEWS | We now know why Artur Silovs was called up
The Canucks proceeded with a roster move last night when they announced that Martin had cleared waivers.
While everyone thought Arturs Silovs would be coming up to sit on the bench, it's the opposite. The young man will stand between the pipes tonight when the team hosts a powerhouse.
Tocchet confirmed to the media earlier this morning that Silovs would be getting his first NHL start. The netminder has been on fire for a while in the AHL and he's definitely getting a bonus out of it.
Silovs was the Canucks' 6th round selection back in 2019 and he'll be getting his first NHL start. Do you believe it's the right move for the youngster's development? While the team is underperforming and will most likely struggle?
