WATCH | Klimovich gets hit dirty and his teammate avenges him with the fight of the year
Fights have become a rare occurrence in today's game and part of the entertainment in the game has gone with it too. However, when we do get heavy and spirited scrap, excitement is backed way up.
The Abbotsford Canucks had a meeting with the Calgary Wranglers last night in a heavily disputed playoff-previewing matchup. If you were hoping to see one of the fiercest tilts you've seen all year, then you'll be served.
Alex Gallant delivered a hit on Danika Klimovich and it displeased the Canucks and Alex Kannok Leipert who took it upon himself to avenge his teammate.
These two weren't taking any breaks and neither side was giving up. Not too long ago, we were blessed to have a fight of this sort almost every game.
