LATEST | Anaheim Ducks looking into the possibility of pulling a blockbuster deal?
The Anaheim Ducks have a roster full of young talent, with players such as Leo Carlson, Mason McTavish, and Pavel Mintyukov leading the way.
However, for star forward Trevor Zegras, this season has been more of a struggle. Sidelined with an injury since November 10th, Zegras has just one goal and one assist through 12 games played.
The timely emergence of Carlsson and McTavish could potentially make a player like Zegras more expendable, given the Ducks' logjam of young players at center.
Zegras was named to the NHL's all-Rookie team in 2022, and was featured on the cover of NHL23 the following year. He has shown flashes of undeniable skill and perhaps it may be unlikely that he is traded, but with the Ducks' current center situation, it may throw into question his future with the team.
