BREAKING | Bad news for the Canucks
The Vancouver Canucks had waived Lane Pederson yesterday and the results just came in.
It looks like Luke Schenn's brother-in-law was claimed on waivers. The Blue Jackets were in town last night and they've decided that Pederson was tagging along as they make the trip back home.
Gustav Nyquist got injured and he'll be out long enough for them to make the call.
Pederson was acquired by the Canucks in the trade that brought Ethan Bear from the Hurricanes. Expect a roster change from the Canucks, they may call someone up from Abbotsford.
We all wish good luck to Lane Pederson with his new team.
