BREAKING | Predators 1st Round Pick suspended by the CHL for spearing a fan (Video)
This story has been heard of everywhere on social medias. Though the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League stated yesterday that they weren't going to go further in their investigation since there was no video proof. Until today.
The video was released today on Twitter. Zachary L'Heureux, a Nashville Predators prospect, was filmed spearing a fan after his team, the Halifax Moosehead, lost to the Gatineau Olympiques. Here's the sequence:
The QMJHL have not yet released a statement on the matter. Former TVA Sports Journalist Mikael Lalancette shared the news that he'd been suspended by the league:
L'Heureux was the Preds 1st Round sélection back in 2021. Known to be quite the «hot-head», L'Heureux is also a heck of a hockey player has he's managed nothing less than 37 points in 24 games so far this season.
This certainly won't look good on the Pred's prospect resume.
