Everyone is well aware that the Hockey community took a hard hit on Sunday when the passing of NHL and Canucks legend, Gino Odjick, was announced.

Since 2014, Odjick had spent most of his time battling health issues, though he never stopped being a true fan and hardcore supporter of the franchise who, to him, deserved the utmost respect. That's why many fans pointed out their anger about this whole situation.

Yesterday, the Canucks held a major press conference addressing the handling of Tanner Pearson's hand injury. Don Taylor of Donnie and Dhali, did not hold back when he was asked to comment on the matter:

«Why the hell would the Canucks hold a press conference today? A major press conference as it turns out, to address the Tanner Pearson situation. I don't understand the rush. When it comes to the Canucks, this day should belong to Gino Odjick, the late great Gino Odjick who passed away on the weekend. Instead, they hold this press conference, and everybody is focused on that when they should be focusing on Gino Odjick.»

Many fans didn't hesitate to share their displeasure with the franchise's behaviors after one of their greats had passed. As of late, things have taken an awkward turn with the team being utterly disconnected from its community. Should the team have taken a step back and taken another date? Or did they do the right thing by conducting business as usual?
