The Dallas Stars are one of the hottest teams in the NHL this season and the ongoing belief is that they are legitimate Stanley Cup contenders.
However, the Stars got dealt a major blow during tonight's game between Dallas and Buffalo when Tyler Seguin left the game with an injury.
Midway through the first period, Seguin was knocked down by Sabres' Jordan Greenway who accidentally cut Seguin with his blade.
Seguin left the game to get medical attention and won't return due to a lower-body injury.
