Jonathan Lekkerimaki has been the center of attention in the Canucks' prospect pipeline after his recent post-season outburst in the HockeyAllsvenkan Playoffs.

There had been lots of talks regarding his next destination and who would be the host to the Canucks' top prospect development. All parties have finally come to an agreement and excellent news for both the youngster and the team comes out of this.

The Obrebro Hockey club from the SHL confirmed a 2-year agreement with the winger:

It was also confirmed that the Canucks held rights to Lekkerimaki and that he could be joining the team in either Vancouver or Abbotsford at any point during these two years.

Following the announcement, it was confirmed that both Lekkerimaki and D-Petey for the team's development camp in July before retreating to Sweden for the beginning of their season:
