LATEST | TSN's Craig Button identifies the next Bo Horvat
TSN's Craig Button has released his most recent ranking list for the 2023 NHL Entry Draft. Some surprising names have jumped into Button's top-ten after having a strong final few months of their respective seasons, as well as at the IIHF U-18 World Championship.
In the ranking list, Craig Button identified the next Bo Horvat ad he says that'll be Slovakian-born forward Dalibor Dvorsky, who played for AIK in Allsvenskan, the second division in Sweden.
Initally, Button had compared Dvorsky, but he changed his mind and compared him to Calgary Flames forward Mikael Backlund. But now, he sees more of Bo Horvat in Dvorsky's game than Backlund.
"He's such a good two-way player," said Button of Dvorsky. "Backlund has always been that really good defensive centre that chips in the 45 points but I think that Dvorsky might be more along the lines of Bo Horvat, more offence there."
Dvorsky, 17, had a fantastic U-18 World Championship, putting up 13 points (eight goals, five assists) in seven games, earning himself a spot on the tournament's All-Star team.
Do you think the Canucks should select Dalibor Dvorsky at 11th overall, if he's still available? Let us know your thoughts in the poll below!
