Thursday Night's game between the New York Islanders and Vancouver Canucks from UBS Arena became can't miss after last week's surprising trade that sent Bo Horvat to the New York Islanders for Anthony Beauvillier, prospect Aatu Raty, and a top-12 protected first-round pick.
A week later we see Horvat face his former team where Horvat played 9 seasons with but also see the return of Anthony Beauvillier who played 7 season with the Islanders play for the first time as a visitor in UBS Arena.
Horvat mentioned before the game how bad he wanted to beat his former team, having a chip on his shoulder from being traded. Horvat has been money for the Islanders on a line with star forward Mathew Barzal, Horvat would score a goal vs his former club in the 2nd period beating Canucks goaltender Collin Delia.
Horvat now joined a special club as one of the few players in the NHL to score goals on all 32 teams.
