A recent video of Vancouver Canucks star Elias Pettersson is circulating around social media which exposes and showcases just how little effort EP40 appears to be putting in at practice.

Prior to their matchup with the Anaheim Ducks last night (November 5th), the team released a video of Brock Boeser, J.T. Miller and Elias Pettersson all practicing their one-timers, and their appears to be an outlier of who actually wants to be working.

Footage Exposes Elias Pettersson in Vancouver Canucks Practice

You can see Boeser and Miller putting max effort into their shots, treating practice as serious as a game. When it pans over to Pettersson, he looks completely uninterested and lackadaisical in his approach to the drill, which is causing some speculation if he is either mentally or physical injured.

Some fans are saying he looks injured, that he can't put weight on his wrist or leg during these drill which explains for the weak effort. Other are saying that he is mentally drained, that he looks completely uninterested in putting more than the bare minimum effort, which by the looks of this video, is being generous.

To be fair, Elias Pettersson had probably his best showing of the season last evening against the Ducks, where he actually appeared to have some pep in his step. He recorded a Game high 6 shots (on 9 attempts), and had himself a night in the face off circle winning 76.9% of the draws.

Whatever it is, something definitely appears to be wrong with Pettersson. Another video surfaced a week ago that showcased his weak shot on Jacob Markstrom, which had the same effect on social media where fans were wondering if there is something more serious going on. We hope the team figures it out because, as of right now, he looks like a complete shell of himself.
